BOOK YOUR EVENT
AS FAR IN ADVANCE AS POSSIBLE
Try to book your event as far in advance as possible. The longer you
wait, the more likely you will find yourself stuck without the band you
had your heart set on, the caterer whose appetizers were out of this world
at your friend's wedding, or the flower arrangements you wanted are no
longer available.
Keep in mind, too, that many vendors raise their prices each year, so if you want to lock in the current price as well as reserve the services of your choice, plan ahead. Another thing you should be aware of is that many party planners charge more when you give them short notice. Try to have all your arrangements made between three months to a year in advance. We know of some companies that have bookings as much as two years in advance.
